Its Nidal's birthday!!!

26th October will probably one of the days that I will never forget. We have a small gathering of close friends to celebrate. Thank you everyone for coming, to make it a very special day for Nidal.

Inspite of his hernia, Nidal was as usual lively. But I worry for him. We would need to schedule a minor operation to move the herniated organ back into place. Hopefully all goes well. InsyaAllah..

Anyway here are a few pictures taken..

Me and Nidal...

This was at my mom's place in Sri Andalas, Klang. Thank you Eita for snapping a few shots.

"Not" at a wedding...

We rushed home, to change (came back from a few open houses) and rushed to a hotel in Shah Alam for a wedding. Arrived late, only to stand outside with no seats when everyone is already busy eating. The worst part is, they have two seats, separated!! It was supposed to be arranged seating, but i don't know what happened.

So we decided to drive thru McD's and head home.

A few pictures outside the ballroom. Poor Nidal, he was so tired. Another is my lovely wifey.

At Emi's place..

Before going to Mimi's open house, we stopped by Emi's place. Here are a few pictures of Zahra.. and Nidal.

Something different.. from my bathroom.

I just bought an external flash, to give me a bit more room to play. An entry level HVL-F42AM, but good enough for a newbie like me.

Heres pictures from my bathroom :D Taken with the flash set to wireless, hitting the subject from the left. (Don't ask why the second picture turned out that way. It just did, all 4 of them)

Photos.. Mixed..

To someone new into photography, i believe it is a must to capture a sunset. So here is my exposure, taken at Aroma Ikan Bakar in Jeram, Kuala Selangor

This is also at Jeram. A beautiful cat, but i can't say the same about the beach.

This is Nidal.. with atuk at a relative's place in Kota, Negeri Sembilan

A chandelier at Tupai-tupai, taken during Eita's birthday.

Nidal again, at labuhan dagang.

A "not so macro" shot.. Like the colors though...

My journey into digital photography..

Its been a while since I updated this blog. For those who have been reading, it all ended when I was in Fort Worth. I find it hard to write, of the people I miss the most. So I just stopped. After coming back, it has been quite an exciting experience, especially getting to know my baby boy, whom i left when he was just 3 months. He has grown to be quite a handful, but still shows a glimpse of his intelligence. What amazes me the most is his memory.

One of the reason of this new found interest is him. The need to capture his moments. I've always been fascinated by beautiful pictures, but understanding the complexity and art of producing the images has always been rocket science to me (thats what happens when you read too much, but doesn't have a camera to practice with). So I've committed myself to understand this art by buying an entry level D-SLR (a reasonably priced Sony a200, thanks to Abg Nuar).

Here is the first picture taken using my new camera(at the camera shop!!). From left, its Bul, Abg Nuar and Lin.
